The competitive landscape of men’s college rowing has changed dramatically in the last decade and although the University is extremely supportive of the program, there remains unmet needs to get our bow ball ahead of our rivals across the country. (A Summary of NU's Commitment to the Men's Rowing Program) If the program is to be ensured continued and improved success, recognizing the effort sacrifice built over the programs history, now is the time to consider a commitment to supporting to push the program to the top of collegiate rowing.  All gifts will make a difference in the experience and opportunities of the student-athletes on the Northeastern men’s rowing team.

NURA Fund Raising Goals

The NURA is the catalyst for raising the funds needed by Men's rowing to compete.  Our goal is to help NU raise the annual needs (July 1 to June 30) of the program and raise an endowment fund to sustain and grow the program.

• Annual Giving 2024 Goal $150,000

• NURA Legacy Fund Endowment Goal $3 million

  • Goal to raise by December 31, 2024​

How you can get involved

Howlin’ Husky Fund

The Howlin' Husky Fund is Northeastern's annual giving fund and where all donation toward the NURA Annual Giving Goal go to support the competitive needs of the program.  100% of the donation goes to the Men's Rowing program.  No administrative fees are taken from your donation.

• Pledge an amount and make annual installments 

• Popular with “young alumni” is setting up a monthly recurring donation on your credit card

 

         If 425 supporters gave $350 a year ($29/month) we'd reach our annual goal - Can you be a part of that team!

Northeastern University Rowing Association Legacy Fund Endowment

We are encouraging gifts of $5,000 or more be made to the NURA Legacy Fund.  The ultimate goal of the NURA is to create a perpetual revenue stream that will support the program at the highest level in the years to come.  100% of the donation goes to the team.  No administrative cost or fees are charged for the management of the fund by Northeastern University.  The goal has been set to raise $3 million dollars in the first three years of the Northeastern University Rowing Association.  Can you help us meet that goal?
