Regina Sullivan joined Northeastern as the executive senior associate director of athletics and senior woman administrator (SWA) in 2013 before being promoted to deputy athletic director in 2018.

"Regina has proven time and again throughout her career that she is an incredibly valuable asset to the success of a collegiate athletics organization," said athletic director Jeff Konya. "She has been especially helpful and supportive during the transition to the new leadership in our department, and I will continue to rely on her expertise as the Howlin' Huskies continue to move forward with the new and innovative vision for our organization."

At Northeastern, Sullivan serves as the sport administrator for men's hockey, women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track and field, field hockey and women's volleyball, and supervises department's business, human resources, compliance, enrollment management and student-athlete support services units.

Sullivan previously served as senior associate director of athletics at the University of Minnesota. In that role, her primary duties involved sports administration, including supervision of the soccer, men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams. She served as the senior woman administrator and the chief of staff for the athletic director, assisting with the daily management of the department.

During her time in the Twin Cities, Sullivan served on the Big Ten Conference Administrators Council and was co-chair and a member of the Big Ten Joint Group Executive Committee. She was the department liaison to a number of university departments and committees, including the Faculty Academic Oversight Committee on Intercollegiate Athletics, admissions, campus police, and the student conduct and academic integrity office.

Prior to arriving in Minneapolis, Sullivan served as the associate director of athletics at the University of California, San Diego. Her considerable professional experience also includes roles as the assistant executive director of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, graduate assistant to the athletic director at the University of Tennessee, and graduate assistant basketball coach at Syracuse University.

Originally from South Orange, N.J., Sullivan has served on numerous national boards, including the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators Board of Directors, and select NCAA committees.

Sullivan earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Yale University, where she was a four-year starter on the women's basketball team. She also holds a master's degree in physical education/sport management from the University of Tennessee.
